Right of Withdrawal (14 Days)

You have the legal right to withdraw from your purchase within 14 days without giving any reason.

The withdrawal period expires 14 days after the day you, or a third party other than the carrier and indicated by you, acquire physical possession of the goods.

To exercise your right of withdrawal, you must notify us by email at:

After notifying us, you must return the goods within 14 days.

Effects of Withdrawal (Refunds)

If you withdraw, we will refund:

  • the price of the returned item(s), and

  • the cost of the cheapest standard delivery option offered at checkout (as required by EU law).

If you selected a more expensive delivery method (express, priority, etc.), the difference is not refundable.

Refunds are issued within 14 days from the day we receive the returned goods or proof that they have been sent back, whichever is earlier.

Refunds are made using the same payment method used for the original transaction, unless otherwise agreed.

Return Conditions

To receive a full refund, the goods must be handled only to the extent necessary to determine:

  • their nature,

  • their characteristics, and

  • their functioning,

similar to what you could do in a physical store.

The consumer is liable for any diminished value resulting from handling beyond what is necessary, provided that these conditions were clearly communicated before the purchase, as required by EU law.

Items must be returned with all included accessories and safely packaged.

Important for All Writing Instruments

This applies to:

  • fountain pens

  • rollerball pens

  • ballpoint pens

  • dip pens

  • and all other writing instruments

You may handle and inspect a writing instrument as you would in a shop.

However, any use involving ink or writing goes beyond normal inspection, including:

  • filling

  • dipping

  • installing a cartridge

  • writing tests

  • leaving ink residue

These actions permanently alter the product.

In such cases:

  • a deduction for loss of value may apply, or

  • if the item cannot be resold, the refund may be refused

This is in accordance with Article 14(2) of the EU Consumer Rights Directive.

Return Shipping Costs

Change of mind

Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer.

Defective, damaged, or incorrect items

We will cover the return shipping or provide a prepaid return label once the issue is confirmed.

Deductions for Diminished Value

A reduction in the refund may apply if the returned item:

  • shows signs of use beyond normal inspection

  • contains ink or residue

  • is missing accessories

  • is scratched, damaged, or modified

  • is returned in damaged or incomplete packaging

You will be informed of any deduction before the refund is processed.

Products Excluded from Withdrawal or Return

The following items cannot be returned under EU consumer law:

  • personalised or custom-made items

  • sealed goods that cannot be returned for health or hygiene reasons once opened

(These exclusions are permitted by Articles 16(c) and 16(e) of Directive 2011/83/EU.)

Exchanges

We replace items only if they arrive defective or damaged.

This does not affect your legal right of withdrawal.
